On Thursday, Mateo officially became
Mateo Fernando Cogua OlsenAfter finally signing off on the final decree and getting the necessary copies and signatures on Wendesday, we registered his named with the Civil Registry and got his Colombian passport. He is officially our baby boy - our son!
We also had our doctor's appointment with a U.S. Embassy doctor, who gives an official letter that we turn into the Embassy when applying for Mateo's U.S. visa. Mateo now weighs a hefty 9500 grams, or 19 pouds.

Mateo's Colombian passport

Waiting at the court on Tuesday for the Defender of Minors to sign the final decree. As you may be able to tell from the picture, Mateo has now entered the phase where he wants to walk so badly! He is not still for even one second and you have to have 5 eyes on him at one time to make sure he doesn't fall since he is so mobile. He crawls pretty fast now, and is able to stand himself up with the help of a hand or stable piece of furniture. He's also talking alot more and using different sounds to express himself. Not stil for one second!
