Mateo acabo de estornudar galletas con chip de chocolate sobre mí! Hemos estado jugando con su nuevo bus de "Gente Pequeña" y hablando en el teléfono con la abuelita Sue. Nuestros amigos los Perkinsosn nos trajeron cena anoche e incluía galletas con chips de chocolate… y como esperar que mami se resistiera a dejar que Mateo las probara?
Mateo seems to be growing so fast! Many people have asked how the transition has been for him moving from Colombia to Nebraska. The truth is that it has taken some time for him to adjust. EVERYTHING here is different than what he was used to, and for a while he was very serious - not like our happy-go-lucky baby of Bogota. But now, he is back to his "usual self," bringing much joy with his smiles and giggles. Here are a few pictures of our soon-to-be-one-year-old.
Me parece que Mateo está creciendo muy rápido! Mucha gente ha preguntado cómo ha sido la transición de Mateo de Colombia a Nebraska. La verdad es que le ha tomado un poco de tiempo el poder ajustarse a esta vida. TODO aquí es diferente de lo que él ya estaba acostumbrado, y por un buen tiempo estuvo muy serio – no como el bebe súper feliz de Bogotá. Pero ya, el ha vuelto a ser el mismo, dándonos mucha felicidad con sus grande sonrisas y risitas picaras. Estas son algunas fotos de nuestro bebe quien ya casi cumple un año.

Quién sabe? Me estoy convirtiendo en un experto en encontrar cosas en el piso y metérmelas en la boca… arroz, pelo de perro, cuerdas, cascara de cebolla, piedras…
