Looking handsome for the baby shower.Friday night was a baby shower for Mateo with Edelmira's girlfriends. There were 22 of us all together and it was a wonderful night. Mateo was charming as usual, and he always livens up at the end of the evening (especially when we take off his day clothes and let him crawl around in his onesie... who doesn't like to run around in their underwear?). Jasney and Edelmira planned a fun evening with games and advice from each of Edelmira's friends.
Mateo and abuelita Edelmira.This morning we went to the park again, which is right behind los abuelos apartment. It's a beautiful green space with a walking path, slide and swings. Mateo loves going down the slide with Daddy holding him, and he loves swinging with Mommy. Always big smiles.
Yesterday, Jose Fernando's best friend growing up - Vladimir - and his wife, Sandra, visited with their 14 month old daughter, Isabella. We had a wonderful afternoon together. Isabella and Mateo became quick friends. Mateo's godfather, Hamilton, also came to visit.

Thanks for keeping us at home updated with everything. It's pretty neat to see how similar Mateo and Dominic are. There's a picture and Mateo playing with Agapito and Mateo is looking at him with a ball in his hand. Dominic gives that same look. Also when he sleep Mateo reminds me of Dominic. Also when you were describing when Mateo wake's up and and he's at his best, same with Dominic. Anyways glad to hear you guys are feeling better. There nothing like easing you in to parent hood. Well I can't wait to meet him and keep us posted.

He sure looks like a "Daddy's boy"! I love the way Mommy always has her hand there for Mateo to hang on to her finger! So sweet are the pictures, really enjoying them! I just can't wait to scoop him up myself! It is very evident that he is "blossoming" in the care of his Mom, Dad and loving grandparents!
