On Tuesday, Mateo had a follow-up doctor's appointment with Dr. Santamaria. Her comments were that he is doing great! As if he had never been sick at all. On top of that, Mateo gained 1 kilo or about 2.2 pounds - this is impressive because of the antibiotics he was taking it's rare that a baby will gain any weight. Our first appointment Mateo weighed 7500 grams, and on Tuesday he weighed 8500 grams.
Tuesday morning was a beautiful day in Bogota. The sun was shining bright and mountains were a light green against the clear blue skies. We left the doctor's office very happy!
